Arranging Your Patio Garden

Arbor Day is around the corner! It makes us wonder: could you imagine a home without plants? Plants breathe live into our homes and make us feel more connected with our beautiful environment. Spring is all about growing new life in our outdoor spaces - even on our backyard patios! Here are five containers you need for your patio garden this season:

Ceramic PotCeramic pots reflect in the sunlight and add a pop of color to your outdoor space. Try complementary colors such as a blue pot dedicated to a lemon tree (which, by the way, smell delicious).

Clementine Box
Eat your way through a juicy box of clementines, and when you’re finished, recycle the box for your patio. Not only are clementine boxes a perfect fit for flowers, but they also add a rustic appeal to your space. Plant hyacinths or sunflowers, which thrive best with lots of sun and water.

Tall Containers
Tall containers made of glass create an elegant appeal for your patio area. They’re ideal for tall bloom such as tulips and can be set as a centerpiece on your outdoor table or along the ledge of your patio.

Terrarium
A terrarium allows for a self-sufficient environment and is great for succulents and tropical plants.

Pitcher
Pitchers weren’t just made for lemonade - they also make great plant holders! Add dark colored plants for contrast, such as purple shamrock, and don’t forget to add drainage holes for watering.
