How to Prep for Your July 4th Party

Putting together a July 4th celebration can seem chaotic, but it really should be a fun time! Plan your most entertaining and creative party yet with these simple steps:

Create a Menu
Surprise your guests with a spread of mouth-watering entrees, thirst-quenching drinks, and delicious desserts. Grilled Pork Tenderloin with corn on the cob makes a great alternative to traditional burgers and is sure to set your party apart from the rest! You can also try an American flag printed cake to show your patriotism and get your guests in the July 4th spirit! It may look like a white cake on the outside, but guests will love the red white and blue print when you cut into the cake.

Get Your Patio Ready
Step one to getting your patio ready: power wash it. We recommend presoaking the surface with a detergent to cut down on wash time. Eco-Friendly Products
Did you know that household poisonings are one of the greatest threats to our health? The biggest culprit of these poisonings is your household cleaners. So look under your sink, grab all the chemical cleaners you have, and read each label. You want to avoid bleach and other dangerous chemicals. A telltale sign that these products are full of chemicals is that they will display the words poison, danger, caution, or warning. Replace these products with non-toxic cleaners or natural ingredients such as white distilled vinegar, baking soda, and lemon.

Recycling
From morning newspapers to glass, take a moment to consider all the products in your home that can be recycled. Establish a bin for plastic items and dispose of them separately from other waste products. 

Donate

It’s that time of year again to get down to the nitty gritty! If spring cleaning is on your to-do list, you’re probably getting ready to buy all the cleaning essentials you typically use. Instead, here is how you can naturally clean everything in your home with all natural ingredients:

Oven
With all the cooking you do in your kitchen, try scrubbing your oven with vinegar and baking soda. This should get rid of grease marks and eliminate any foul odors.

Blinds
